“This situation took place during the renovation of one of the churches on Manhattan. In general, I am really intrigued by folds, natural forms, materials and textures. This was probably the most ‘desired’ fold… the most saint. There is probably a reason why this statue has its hand out, in any case, it was very beneficial for me…”
