“I am Taso, a 21-year-old director. I was born and raised in Tbilisi. When I turned 14 years old, I was gifted my first photo camera on my birthday. From there on, I started to observe and document the world through lens.”
“During my school years, Tbilisi gave me a lot of inspiration, I wanted to shoot and remember everything. Perhaps photography introduced me to the city I thought I knew. Slowly, this hobby raised my interest in video-making, and eventually, I became interested in film art. In 2018-2022, I studied cinematography at a film school in Paris, however, I am going to pursue my career as a director.”
